If you came across this article, your platform probably informed you that the negotiation password has been blocked and a new one needs to be created.
If so, this article will keep you informed about the reasons that might have triggered this behaviour and how you can proceed when it happens. Let's go, shall we?
What is the Negotiation Password?
Firstly, you need to acknowledge that your negotiation password is first sent to your e-mail address, alongside your access credentials. At first, this password is randomly generated but can be changed directly in the platform afterwards.
This password differs from the access password because it is only used to forward orders to the negotiation servers. Therefore, your software constantly operates with 2 independent passwords: one to access your platform and another one to send orders.
How do I insert my negotiation password on the platform?
There are multiple ways you can insert your negotiation password into your platform. However, we will focus on 2 main options:
To insert your password in SuperDOM, just type it in the field shown below:
If you are a graph trade, you can insert your negotiation password through ChartTrading, on the specified field below:
I need to change my negotiation password. What now?
As explained earlier, your first Negotiation Password is automatically generated once you subscribe to your platform.
However, you might want to change it afterwards, in order to increase security and use a password you're more comfortable with.
To modify your password, access Negotiation > Change Password:
From there, to effectively change your password, fill all fields correctly until all present conditions are green and then click "send", as shown below:
My negotiation password is blocked, now what?
Your negotiation password can be blocked if you fail to type it correctly more than 3 times. This is a measure to improve your account's security and is prompted by our internal systems.
Once your password is blocked, you will need to change it using your account credentials. To do this, access Negotiation > Forgot/Unlocks Password:
Then, insert your CPF or E-mail and click "Confirm":
You will then receive an e-mail with instructions to redefine your password. This process will also unlock your password and replace it with the newly created one.
